Banff Harbour Update:
James Forbes and his team has done a magnificent job of removing the inner and outer bunds from the harbour. They are just recovering the remaining aggregate and larger rock armour boulders from the main slipway.
Keith Simpson stonemasons are making great progress of relaying the deck on the East Pier and are about half way along it now.
Aspect land and Hydrographics will be conducting a marine survey during the last week of March. This will cover the whole harbour prior to the Wyre Sands' dredger arriving at the beginning of April. This survey will give us an indication of how much dredge material actually needs to removed. The removal of the bunds has been taken down to bedrock in those areas already.
Everything is on schedule for a May opening.
