Aberdeenshire Council has awarded the Construction Phase Contract of the Banff Railway Jetty and East Pier Repairs to Lochshell Ltd. The works will be Project Managed by Turner Townsend. These repair works will reinstate the Railway Jetty to its appearance prior to its partial collapse in June 2017 and strengthen the East Pier.
The works are to start on the 18th January with a Completion date of 18th August 2021. A Public Consultation will be held on Monday 11th January at 6pm via an online platform. We would like to encourage local residents, harbour users and the wider community to join for a short presentation about the construction works and possible disruptions with a question and answer session after.
